Andrew Hart

Attorney

Andy Hart grew up in McMinnville, Oregon. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Oregon. He was taught from a young age that the practice of law is an honorable profession — a lesson passed on by his father, an attorney in McMinnville.

After obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Andy became actively involved with Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL). He served as MVL President in 2014–2015 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. It was through his work with MVL that Andy gained a passion for Family Law, as it affords him the opportunity to help people through very difficult times in their lives.

Andy approaches each case with compassion, understanding that divorce and family issues are often the most trying circumstances in a person’s life. He also serves as a Guardian ad litem for mentally incapacitated adults in domestic matters.

In his spare time, Andy spends time with his family exploring Colorado — hiking, backpacking, cycling, and skiing. When not engaged in outdoor pursuits, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading a good book, and cheering on the University of Oregon Ducks.
